The play titled ‘Telling a Tale: Kitchen Dramas’ is a personal story of Nepali women. The gender inequalities, violence and other thoughtful concerns are said to be raised in a comical way in the play. It is directed by the Deborah Merola an artistic director of One World Theater. The play is an adaptation of the book which consist an autobiographical narration of the women of different ages which was published in 2010. The book was edited by Archana Thapa.
