30 days in September

30 days in September is a play written by Indian playwright Mahesh Dattatani. The play deals with the issue of child sexual abuse. Dattani explores the vulnerable psyche of a woman who was molested by her own kin even before she had reached puberty. That incestuous sexual relationship, spanning over a number of years, not just destroys her mentally and psychologically but also haunts her present. The play is translated in Nepal by Barun Thapa and Aashant Sharma and directed by Anup Baral.
