GumFun

The play GumFun tells the story of Alina, a teenager who worries about nothing but her chubby body, weight and physical appearance. Like many teenagers, she is lost in the world of computers and internet and seldom gets connected with the real world.

Alina is a single child, raised by a single mother. Her loneliness makes her sad. To escape the loneliness, she starts exploring the world of the internet where she can hide her identity and become whoever she wishes. There, she meets Darkflow and soon becomes close to him. Darkflow is equally depressed in his real world.

GumFun showcases the problems dealt by the teenagers and adults who are obsessed with virtual reality and are dissatisfied with the real world, relationship and society. Can Alina and Darkflow get rid of this unreal world? Where would society head with the loss of humanity in this new Generation?  Directed by Dillip Ranabhat, come take this journey and find out.
