Sabiti and Inauguration of Theater Village Nepal

Theatre Village renovated its hall and named it after Satyamohan Joshi, a culture veteran and playwright of Nepal. The hall was inaugurated jointly by the chancellor of Nepal Academy Til Bikram Nembang (Bairagi Kainla), the chancellor of Nepal Academy of Fine arts Kiran Manandhar, the Chancellor of Nepal Academy of Music and Drama Amber Gurung and Professor Anuradha Kapur, former director of National School of Drama, New Delhi.

The inauguration of the hall was followed by staging of a play ‘Sabiti’. The play is based on Jagadish Ghimire’s Novel of the same title and directed by Bimal Subedi with theatre veteran Sunil Pokharel on the cast.
