Theatre Village Nepal set out on a European tour in 2017, where Village Nepal shared three different theatre festivals (Festival Festijalla in Berlin, Festival HotFestSpiele in Berlin, and Festiva 8pots op Westin Westouter, Belgium). Inspired by the play Malini by Rabindranath Tagore(Thakur), Theatre Village Nepal sets a performance undermining the emotion of human sentiments that is set in-between love and hatred. The play was selected not as a Nepali play but as a play that represented Asians. The play starts with the poetry by Malini, which talks about suppressed female even as a princess of the kingdom with absolute wisdom. The play explores the reality of a female leader in a society and the society that does not accept her. The box of proximity that the world set is all about the story that Princess Malini talks about.
